Cefla Finishing System: Raising the Bar in Efficiency and Quality
By Katie Van Blargan, Customer Service Team Lead & Marketing StrategistIt’s been two years since the installation of our Cefla finishing system here at Meridian Products.
For those not familiar with Cefla, they are a leading global manufacturer of turnkey coating and finishing systems.
Since bringing Cefla on board, there have been unfortunate setbacks, from programming issues and part malfunctions to challenges with proper cleaning protocol.
While most companies would consider just “taking a loss” on their investment, that is not what Meridian Products chose.
We never lost sight of the promise that Cefla was a product that would remold our finishing department, for the better. Our team remained confident, and we have overcome every obstacle that was thrown our way.
Industrial coating technologies like those Cefla offers have a broad range of products they can finish, from larger products like wainscot panels, and face frames to doors and drawer fronts. For Meridian Products, the sole product focus of our Cefla system is door and drawer front finishing.
There are three specific benefits that Cefla highlights on their website. These benefits tie directly back to Meridian Products. Let’s elaborate:
1.) Consistent Quality
Quality is a key factor in large orders, especially when the project is all within the same room. The risk of an incorrect color is high, but the finishing consistency that the Cefla provides makes this an enormous benefit in order product consistency.
2.) Improved Productivity
Once running smoothly, the Cefla provides low maintenance and requires minimal staff to operate. This in turn will produce shorter lead times and get your Meridian Products order into your hands faster.
3.) Overall Sustainability
Consistent quality and higher productivity will improve overall sustainability for the environment. With less product waste, the Cefla is an investment that is beneficial for both Meridian Products and our customers.
